I think being born in the Fall had something to do with my love of the "wintry" season. I love having an excuse to wear layers of clothes, especially sweats and flannel pajamas. I love the fireplace burning, the tons of blankets on the bed and the "gray" look outside. There is just something peaceful about it.
That being said, I wish that all the people that don't know how to drive in rain, snow, or on ice would stay the fuck indoors, cause y'all fucking it up for the people that do know what to do. I'm from the north and these southerners kill me. They don't know nothing about chains on the tires, bags of sand in the trunks or salting the porch and walkways. The whole city town (yes I said town) shuts down when we get a dusting of snow...its pathetic. I used to work in NY/NJ and boy them NOR' EASTERS was the bomb, I had never heard that word until I got stuck in one and it was soooooo pretty.
God, Mother Nature, Global Warming bring it on, hit us with yo best shot cause I'm ready!
Picture up above is from 31Jan07...the most snow I've seen since I moved here 10 years ago, and it was not even an inch...I can see the grass peeking out!

@Ms B, WHAT you like the HEAT? Okay our twinness is coming to a halt...I hate the heat, sun, plants, bugs...yuck
@ Poc, CALI girl all your life? Christmas doesnt even seem the same without snow...do you think that you want to see it some day?
I think I will, If I want its a local place I can go to called Julian or Big Bear, Im amazed and would love to at least make a snow angel, I know my ass is corny..LOL
