Friends - how many of us have them...friends -

I don't know why I am up at the break of dawn thinking about Whodini - I did make a cd the other day with them, Ice Cube, Too Short and NWA...feeling nostalgic I guess.

I have a friend ADDFriend for real, who is just like me and it is too funny. As Ive said I don't use the term friend lightly, but this girl has been down since Filas. Its funny that initially she was lil sissy BFF, I told her that God was just giving her a taste of my sis up close and personal so that when I vented later on in life, she would know EXACTLY what I was talking about.

My ADDfriend called sent me text messages all weekend - she knows that I hate texting and texters - killing the English language, well that and Soulja boy...I'm a withdrawer, so when I was going through my stuff with my sis, I withdrew. ADDfriend was relentless with the calls and messages, so much so that I finally gave in and asked her to understand that I was not in a "talking" place right now and Ill get back at her. Knowing me, she understood. I got to thinking about my "relationship tester" ways - and thought this was not fair to her...I need to call her.

I'm so glad I did. She was sympathetic, caring, funny, allowed me to have "the couch" for a change and did I say funny. I laughed so hard at the mental picture of her riding her disabled sisters scooter to the bus stop to pick up her nephew, while talking on the phone to me...that I had tears...NO there was no reason for her to ride the scooter, she was just doing what she does...ADD thought comes in the head and we both just run with 'em.

ADDfriend is extremely intelligent, very cunning - boy we used to have so much fun with her evil genius, has served a tour in the military (think private Benjamin x 10), and is the most loving, caring individual you will ever meet. Her friendship has no conditions, boundaries, limits or time lines. I admire her on so many levels that she does not even understand.

I am so glad to have her in my life. We all need to have at least one...friend - before you go any further lets be FRIENDS....***doing the WOP (dance)***
