ADDson#2...go figure

ADDson2 is the middle child (enough said!).

I love my 3 boys so much that it hurts. I use to long for the days that we would all climb into bed and watch TMNT together. Nowadays, I'm so glad they are out of my house, I could dance a jig.

ADDson2 is 21 going on 14 - why don't men mature progressively? He has a child on the way, a little girl (YEA), by a nice young lady who happens to be a different nationality and without running the risk of sounding like reverse Duane "Dog" Chapman, I will leave it alone.

History on son2, he has some identity issues - at age 5 he asked me "why did God leave him in the oven longer than you and ADDson1". ADDson2 has the complexion of Lenny Kravitz, as a matter of fact, they have the same sense of style and eclectics. Mr Kravitz is a biracial child, so hes given a pass, ADDson2 is not. He is a Kid Rock in a 50 cent world. He can get along with whomever, but tends to think of his race as sub-par and actually allows his Caucasian friends to get dangerously close to inappropriateness. He is the "brotha" - in the group of "others", in a predominantly white club, with the tatts, big holes in his ears, etc - get the picture? Sometimes I wish this were his only issue...but he has been know to fabricate, stretch the truth - beyond recognition, take things withOUT the owners consented permission, he has a sense of entitlement and shows no remorse when busted - which scares the shit out of me!

I'm no saint and have done my share of lying and BORROWING things, but I ALWAYS FELT BAD for doing it. He doesn't show any concern for the things he does or whom he hurts. I ain't trying to be "Dr. Phil" but he cannot be a happy person and that makes me sad.

Yesterday I talked to the future baby momma and she said that ADDson2 broke up with her and moved out 2 weeks ago - NO HE HAS NOT SAID ANYTHING TO ME ABOUT THIS. He moved in with another woman. I told her to put child support on his ass and move on. She's in love and wants them to be a family - OK not looking too good.

I sent ADDson2 a text message telling him I was disappointed in him for using people and throwing them away and that I hope it did not take a tragedy for him to mend his ways. He never responded - I really did not expect him to. The great thing about ADDson2 is that even though he has issues (as we all do), he tries to keep them from me - (this could be self-preservation more than don't wanna hurt my momma).

ADDson2 has so much potential and if he used his power for good, the sky's the limit. He has the voice of an angel, very nice looking, great personality, funny, smart, etc...he just doesn't get it yet.
