This is national health month (for me only). I say that because I had the OB appointment earlier this week or last week and I met with my primary care physician yesterday. No, there is nothing seriously wrong with me, other than the obvious, but I have not seen these people in over a year, and they would no longer refill my "getting older-keep me sane" medications without a check-up.
My appointment was at 1:30, but ADDhubby started rearranging the furniture, so I got ghost about 12:45 (hoping I could be seen earlier), plus I did not want to help - this was HIS project.
No one is in the waiting room "Cool, this will be in and out"...then 3 patients trickle in...To make a long story short, they were all seen before me and I was heated!!!! The receptionist informed me that their appointments were before mine, so pretty much fuck that I was early.
I have had this primary Dr for approximately 7 years...mainly because he is the nicest Dr. Ive ever met. He remembers everything and acts genuinely concerned about my responses, but to top it off he prays with and for me before he leaves the room EVERY TIME. I appreciate the fact that he has not allowed the government or patients dictate his spirituality to him.
So anyway, I was so worked up that my blood pressure was up and I started ranting about everything. He suggested that I try a patch, no not a smoking patch, but an ADD patch...it made sense, so I agreed. This patch does not take 30 days to build up...you wear it as needed so yea we will see how it affects my rantings!
That was yesterday.
I will catch up later on today!
Maybe the patch is working, I feel more mellow today...hmmmm

Well I sincerely hope you are feeling better. Wow, I have never heard of a praying DR., that there would be my dream doctor, consider yourself lucky indeed, those kind of angels are far and few. On the real, I have grown to be patient when it comes to people going in before me, that shit irks my nerves but cussing out the med student fresh out of the local training class for med receptionist is a waste of time...
Poc, I completely understand...and I even thought that...why am I mad at the receptionist? but there was no reasoning with me then.
thanks for the advice, I will definitely remember it!
