A true story for Ms POC

Ms. Poc, I love that I make you laugh!!!

I have a lot of things that have happened to me that as I look back, make me crack up...here is one that I'm sure you and Ms. B will appreciate.

I used to be a consultant and I was on a project in Denmark, Copenhagen (yes in Europe)...the majority of the people that I met while over there spoke a minimum of 1.5 languages (their native tongue and some broken English)...before I flew over there, I had had a kidney infection and was taking antibiotics (ugh ohh, see where I'm going)...I completed the antibiotics on my first day there and right about day 3, I noticed an ITCH...damn antibiotics do it to me every time...so after work, I go to the concierge desk and ask for the closest pharmacy...

The pharmacy was PACKED, everything is in the foreign language so I have to go to the pharmacist to ask a question...I stood in line forever...I finally get to the counter where I'm trying to lean in and whisper to the lady (I got in the ladies line figuring she would be more sympathetic)... I said (in my lowest baby voice) "can you tell me where to find the Monistat cream" SHE screams "WHAT", I repeat the question, she said (in broken English) WHAT IS THAT??!!??, I whisper "its for a yeast infection"...SHE SCREAMS "OHHHH, do you want something for around the vagina (and she is doing hand gestures in a circular formation) or for IN the vagina (pumping her finger in and out)...I said "never mind" and ran out of the store...I have never been so embarrassed in my life (and it takes allot to shame me)..

Moral of the story, when going over seas, pack for every possible occasion and eat lots of yougurt!
